With sale signs acting as a beacon to us weak shoppers who
want everything, I urge you to stay away from the high street, at least until
pay day. But, if Dappy can have no regrets then so can I. However, I might be
regretting walking into the Zara sale when I have to eat my clothes for the
next few days till pay day.
Slyly walking from one shop to another, with the naive thought
of ‘oh just one more shop wont hurt’, my bank balance becoming sadder with
every step and my arms weaker, I took on the challenge of the summer sale and
won! Here are some of the things I brought.
ZARA OVER SIZED DENIM JACKET
This floral print denim jacket is now only £19.99 and
perfect for the undecided weather. The pastel colours are perfect for summer
and easy to throw over any outfit. This will look really cute over summer crop
tops when its not quite warm enough to brave with your shoulders out.
TRF PLATFORM WEDGE
I also got these TRF platform wedge sandals in black for
£9.99. I’m loving flat-forms at the moment;
they dress up any outfit and are so comfortable and light. To be honest, the
best thing about them is you can totally reminisce about those 90’s girl power
days in them. These also come in a lighter, nude colour version.
Edgy in baby blue…and only £15.99! With the leather look
shorts, this playsuit can be dressed up with statement jewellery and heels or
down with sandals and sunnies for a night or day look. The top of this playsuit
if made from a stretchy modal fabric, which makes it super soft and smooth.
TOPSHOP FLORAL ROSE T-SHIRT
I just got this loose burn out white & cream floral rose
T-shirt top to throw on with shorts or jeans to replace last summers boyfriend
white tees. Some boyfriend tops can look slightly like primary school PE tops but
I think this t-shirt has a more subtle feminine finish. Its also slightly
translucent so perfect for layering with pretty bralettes. They have some
really cute, affordable ones in forever 21.
